Easy to find the start as it goes from the bay, also easy to follow. But quite a climb up the hill, so if you have difficulties with climbing this isn't the walk for you. As it was a damp day we co…Full review by annbC3382JN

The South West Coast Path starts in Minehead, and for 630 miles runs along the coastline of Exmoor, along the coast of North Devon, then around the entire coastline of Cornwall, back along the south …Full review by Steve_of_N21
When ten years younger, I walked the Cornwall sections of the south west coast path. I am now considering revisiting the area to try the Devon coast for a walk of perhaps a hundred miles, at about ten miles a day (which is about my limit, with all that up and down). Should I choose the north or the south?

The South Devon Coast would be easier also the weather may be better. North Coast you will get the Atlantic with its strong winds etc.
Sorry, not clear? You may have had this query answered already by no. Where do you want the post code for as theSouth West coastal path covers a vast area.
Hi! We are doing a week hike with our kids aged 12 and 10 on the south coastal path. Which section would you recommend as beautiful but not TOO hard?

Hi, Take a look on our website for ideas - check out the walking break pages. 2 sections which are particularly stunning are the far west of Cornwall, and Weymout to Poole on the Jurassic Coast. Both of these are World Heritage Sites. They both have quite tough sections, but can be made more manageable by breaking it into shorter days, or staying in 1 place and doing day walks.
We are mid 60's females from Canada who are used to hiking in fairly rugged terrain on the West Coast of British Columbia. We are planning a trip in mid September to Cornwall and would like advice on which section would best suit us. We would be walking for 5 or 6 days. Any suggestions on tour companies, sections where there are good views, historic sites, accessible villages? It is such a long path we don't know where to focus.
