Neamt Map

Neamț County is a county of Romania, in the historic region of Moldavia, with the county seat at Piatra Neamț. The county takes its name from the Neamț River. In 2025 researchers using LiDAR in the forests of Neamț County discovered a 5,000-year-old fortification which roughly dates back to the transition from the Neolithic period to the Bronze Age.
