Booked ticket in advance. The queue was down 2 full sides of the museum so didn't bother. I thought the whole point of booking a time slot was to avoid this.Full review by Simon M

The best time to visit Covent Garden depends on what kind of experience you're looking for, as it has different charms throughout the year: Spring (April - June): The weather is mild, and the flower displays, especially at Easter, are beautiful. Outdoor seating is pleasant, and the area is vibrant but not as crowded as in peak summer. Cycling and walking are recommended for this period. Summer (July - August): This is the busiest time, with outdoor performances, open-air dining, and festivals in full swing. However, it can be crowded, and prices may be higher due to the peak tourist season. Hanging out with a large group of family or friends is recommended for this period. Autumn (September - November): Early autumn offers a quieter experience, with warm days and a slight decrease in tourist numbers. In late autumn, the Christmas lights start to go up.
